Universal Boschi manufactures and supplies a vast range of tonnage air separation plants tailor made to the requirement of the buyer as per the application for production of Oxygen Nitrogen & Argon in gas and liquid form. These plants incorporate the latest Centrifugal Air compressors and are designed as per the Low pressure BOSCHI process.

BOSCHI Tonnage plants are designed and built to meet the highest standards of performance and reliability with the following features:

• Argon Recovery at highly efficient recovery rate with 5 PPM purity.
• Fully Automatic operation via DCS control system of SIEMENS / YOKOGAWA.
• Low specific power consumption due to Low pressure (10 Bar) process.
• 24 Months continuous operation between defrosts.
• Centrifugal fully automatic design Air Compressor connected to main DCS for safe operation.
• Nitrogen output at high purity up to 3 PPM.
• CE certified product with design as per European Gas Association guidelines for ASP’s.
• Expansion Turbines used for super cooling of air via Cryogenic expansion.
• Hydrocarbon vapor level reduced below 0.003 PPM to ensure safe operation (oil free available).
• Long life of the plant and machinery >> 15 years to 20 Years.
• Cylinder filling done via vaporizer from the Liquid storage tanks (if required).

The materials used in an air separation plant are exposed to wide range of temperatures| pressures| and purities during operation. Materials are selected that are compatible with the expected condition including normal operation startup shutdown and process upsets.

For the oxygen system to operate safely all parts of the system should be reviewed for compatibility with oxygen under all conditions they will encounter. The system is designed to prevent oxygen combustion by:

• Selecting the optimum cryogenic grade material.
• Operating within the designed pressure temperature and flow limits; and
• Cylinder filling: oxygen-nitrogen gas can be filled in the cylinders as per the cylinder filling chart given below
• Obtaining proper cleanliness.

Capacities: Plants are available from 50m3/hr upto 5000m3/hr Oxygen or nitrogen gas.
• TONNAGE oxygen nitrogen plants from 10 tpd to 200 tpd.
Cylinder filling: oxygen-nitrogen gas can be filled in the cylinders as per the cylinder filling chart given below
Purity: Oxygen gas of 99.6% purity can be produced and *pure nitrogen of 99.99% upto 3PPM is produced simultaneously without any loss of the oxygen production. **voltage and frequency as per the country of installation.

Main Performance of the plant:

LOW OPERATING PRESSURE OF 7 BAR USING TURBO EXPANDER ENSURES MINIMUM ENERGY.

A Oxygen purity 99.6% at 150-160 Bar(2200PSIG) for Oxygen cylinder filling UPTO 200 BAR
B High purity Nitrogen 99.99%(PPM optional) or cylinder filling.

NOTE: There is no loss of oxygen Production when producing high purity nitrogen. Air separation is CRYOGENIC TYPE with low-pressure cycle of 7 Kg/cm2 with air separation by liquification. This cycle utilize an Expansion TURBINE to give the cold calories at (-)180° C. The cold box is supplied as a complete package unit with control panel and insulation.
